What Causes Sharp Stabbing Pain In Urethra And Prescribed Bacterium For Severe UTI?
I have a severe UTI and have taken Bactrim for 4 days then put on Cipro for now 4 days. I have sharp stabbing pain in my urethra to my bladder when I urinate, no other symptoms. Just had contrast CT scan, nothing there. What else could it be? What other medications can help?

severe infection produce these symptoms.do urine culture and take antibiotic according to that.
drink lot of fluid .
