What Causes Sharp Shooting Pain In Ear?
I have a sharp shooting pain on the crest of the helix on my right ear. It comes and goes. The pain shoots periodically right and that point on my ear. My inner ear does not hurt at. The pain is all located around the helix, antihelix and crest of helix. What could this be from?

You may be suffering from herpes infection or neuropathy involving the greater auricular nerve or lesser occipital nerve or auricular branch of vagus nerve.
Possible causes like diabetes, neuropathy or herpes infection, etcetera are there.
