What Causes Sharp Pain While Passing Stools?
Hi, i am a mother of a 12 year old girl this is what she said to me "I have sharp pain in my stomach and sometimes it is relieved when i go pee, but sometimes it stays for a while and it mostly happens in the middle of the night and it gets so bad i cry"

In most of the cases when the patient is a young child then first thing we need to see is that how is child behaving. Most of the time child wants to avoid something or on the other hand wants to grab attention of elders and such issues arises. So first of all you need to confirm by talking to your daughter in an affection away and ask if she has some issue or wants to share ,etc. There is a strong possibility that she might not answer at the first place but after gaining trust she might share with you.
Secondly, check/ask and tell following questions:
1. color of urine
2. Since when is she having this problem?
3. In the past did she has any such complaint? If yes then how was it relieved.
