What Causes Sharp Pain In Wrist Radiating To The Elbow?
Yesterday I had a sudden sharp pain in my wrist...no injury, strain or bite. As the night and today have progressed the pain has moved up toward my elbow (about half way) and into my palm and pinkie finger. Bending the wrist is very painful and I cannot handle any weight with the wrist.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sharp pain in wrist radiating to the elbow. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like injury ,arthritis , rheumatoid arthritis , carpal tunnel syndrome , gout or ganglion cysts. There can be other reasons also like joint dislocation or chip off fraction from part of bone , as this this joint consists of many small bones . you should put your wrist in hot water tub for 15 minutes daily and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Give your arm proper rest and doing gentle massage with almond oil on arm will be helpful. Do not lift heavy object with arm and give proper rest to your arm . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI along with physical examination , urine test . Doctor may recommend surgical removal or may prescribe antibiotics , allopurinol along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also recommend physical therapy .Doctor may fix the abnormality by plaster , splint or bandage in case of fracture .
