What Causes Sharp Pain In The Temple And Around The Ear?
I keep having sharp pains in my head (over my left ear, and temple area usually), i also have difficulty concentrating and forget things constantly. So much so my wife keeps telling me to get my head checked. I get really hot, and my ears get bright red. I am only 44, but i am getting concerned it is a vascular problem. If so, how can i get my doctor to listen to my concerns? I am a smoker, and i think i may be at risk for a stroke! Should i be worried? What tests can i have done to check these symptoms?

I really appreciate your concern, headache could be due to stress and it is the common cause, some time it may be migraine, if you have not done the CT of brain then better to get this done, till then you can try Tab Acetaminophen as per needed and try to come out of the stress if you ever have it hope this information helps.
