What Causes Sharp Pain In The Buttocks?
Two days ago I woke up with a sharp pain in my left butt... hurts when I go up steps or up a lightly incline hill... no problem going down steps or down incline hill... if I sit long is hurts to get up... annoying during sleeping... I can feel a very very deep small knott in the center of my butt... should I get a massage to work this out - could it be spasm from an exercise class I took Monday night in Pilates mat class? have you history of any injection at that site in recent time?if no ,
muscular spasm is the common cause for this kind of pain.anti spasmotic treatment (drug and/or physiotherapy)will relive this condition.
if not relived on antispasmotic treatment,further investigation will be required.
