What Causes Sharp Pain In Stomach And Constipation While On Omeprazole?
I woke up around 2:30am on Sunday with a very sharp pain in my stomach. I am taking Omeprazole (40mg) daily, but I am not sure what caused this episode.I was up all night and vomited three times. My stomach was full (I probably ate too fast at dinner, around 5:30pm on Saturday) so what came up the first two times was food. The third was mostly bile. No blood.I was constipated at the time.Any thoughts, more info you need?

As to understand here that why are you taking an omeprazole? are you been advised by a doctor for it? well it not then self medication is not advised. Also, if the physician has advised you can consult for the same .
As consumption of omeprazole on regular basis will desensitize the normal physiological function of the inner lining of the stomach which produces the acid. Also, if you can avoid omeprazole for it will be good as the body needs its own physiological process to act on food.
Too much of acidic in stomach secretion may lead to aches and pain. Also, vomiting is a common sign.
To help furthermore you can improve your digestion capacity by performing regular physical exercises to improve the metabolism and you can later get rid of omeprazole .
