What Causes Sharp Pain In Right Side Of Neck?

Hi. For the past 8 weeks, I get a sharp pain in the right-hand side of my neck close to my throat when I turn my head to the left. It comes and goes, but is predominately there. It occurred the morning after I went to a party. I had quite a few drinks, but also, the house was full of dust as it was being renovated. Any ideas.

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The pain in the neck on turning to a side can be because of calcified stylomandibular ligament or torticolis. Nothing to be panic, consult an oral physician and get it evaluated, You need to get a radiograph done to confirm the diagnosis. Mean while you can take a course of analgesic with a muscle relaxant like in buprofen and chlorzoxazone respectively.
I hope I have answered your query, take care.
