What Causes Sharp Headaches?

I am 21 and for 2 days I got a sharp headache (about 5 times per day) on the right side of my head, the left side of my face went numb during these episodes I was around the time of the month (menstruation) so i am wondering is it something to worry about; Thank you for your time

1. Since it occured around your menses thus could be possible menstrual headaches due to fluctuations in hormones.

2. Since there was numbness in face ( neurological sign) thus check with a Neurologist opinion and any investigation (C.T. Head).

3. In the mean time take rest in a dark,quiet room, massage and press the scalp and apply counterirritants.
