What Causes Sharp And Throbbing Pain In Groin Area?

I had my uterus removed in 1990 because of endo. 3 weeks ago I started having cramps across the lower half of my stomach off and on for 1and 1half days. I went to urgent care they did a pelvic and abdomen CT with contrast and couldn t find anything. I then had pain on the outer part of my left hip and left groin area. They thought it was bursitis I was given a cortisone shot. My outer hip doesn t hurt anymore he told me I need to see a Gyno. doctor. I have sharp and throbbing pains in my groin area and can hardly walk but not running a fever. Do you know what the problem might be?
