Dull to slightly sharp pain in right lower abdomen which comes and goes away and irritated on sitting or so indicates that there is an inflammation going on in the right side of abdomen like appendicitis, typhlitis and so on. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Get a clinical evaluation and examination by a General Surgeon. Get a CT scan of abdomen so that a proper diagnosis can be correlated and also get the tests of blood, urine and stool. Once diagnosed the treatment would depend upon the final diagnosis which can be either medical management or surgery if the cause is surgical. Follow the advise properly.
