My six year old son s arms started shaking last night. he complained of pain. the shaking stopped when he went to sleep, but started again this morning- especially when he uses them to eat, brush his teeth, etc. He said that he does t feel much pain this morning but he holds his arms out stiff in front of him when he walks. Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This could be a tremor of some kind. He needs to be seen by a pediatrician to understand what the underlying problem may be, as a tremor is nothing more than a symptom of something that is causing it to appear. I suspect that the doctor will order some blood tests to rule out problems like a low blood calcium, for example.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
