General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If it seems to you that vaginal bleeding has increased from before, I suggest you do a USG Lower Abdomen, though, it is sometimes normal in your age.

But we should be on safe side and must not take risk. Thus, USG Lower Abdomen.

In this age, sometimes, hormonal fluctuation may occur and may be lead to severe periods. It may go away spontaneously or may be not.

Change your napkins regularly and Do not have caffeine/ chocolate on the days of the period.

If there is too much bleeding, you can have Tranexamic Acid. If you feel too weak, I suggest you do a Serum Ferritin Test. Feed on iron-rich food.

Eat a healthy diet. For now, USG is important. With the result, please post another question. Do not worry. You are under treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take are

Regards,
