What Causes Severe Upper Abdominal Pain?
I have been having severe upper abdominal pain for weeks that radiat through and to my back . I recently had exploratory lap surgery and the surgeon removed some adhesions. He said he thought that was the cause, however it is not. The pain now comes daily and lasts ALL day and I also have a chronic salty taste in my mouth.

possible IBs. you should do colonoscopy and gastroscopy to rule out possible intraluminal lesions. Wish you good health. Regards
