What Causes Severe Toothache And Body Ache?

Hi my name is Robert and i have a question, so early thurday morning at around 3am i was awaken by extreme pain from my tooth as it is one of my upper molers and is currently missing a good 35% of the tooth itself. i am going to go to the dwntist to it fixed but a couple of seconds or so after the pain struck my body felt very cold and i could not stop it feom shaking, i tried get as warm as possible but it had 0 effect and i felt like an ice cube, breathing was faster than usual but also a bit hard, the whole thing lasted about, i dont know, it felt like 30 minutes could have been more or less but later that day when i had to wake up for school i had a really bad headache and my body just felt completely worn down, now today(friday 17th) i still feel worn down, not as much as yesterday but definitely enough to make me want to do nothing but lay in bed, still have a headache and noise and bright light doesnt do me muh better plus i feel slightly dissy after doing a little bit of labor like carry my neice for a short time (3 minutes), did my body go into shock, and whether it did or not, do i need to worry about anything?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

There is a possibility that you have got septicemia due to the deeply infected tooth and due to the body's response to fight against infection you have experienced the symptoms that you explained..
Although it is not common to see such symptoms with infected tooth but at times severe infection can cause septicemia..
However you should once consult an Emergency service and get evaluated so that they can narrow down the exact cause and treat you accordingly..
A blood test can be done for confirmation..
As far as your tooth is concerned get an x ray done and if tooth can be saved immediately get root canal treatment done under antibiotic cover.
If there is gross decay extraction is advisable.
Antibiotics and painkillers should be taken for atleast 2 days before procedure and 5 days after procedure..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
