I am experiencing terrible stomach pain and bloating after eating a Burger King hamburger about 7 hours ago - my wife ate the same food and is fine. I generally do not eat that kind of food but have done so in the past without problems. I also experienced the same symptoms 3 days ago when I ate home cooked Roast Beef for dinner. I have been eating less red meat and fatty foods for about 3 months trying to lose a few pounds. I wonder if eating meat again is causing the problem? My stomach is Very Painful and I am bloated - the pain is near the belly button, not lower abdomen. I took Beano tablets about 30 minutes ago thinking it might help with the bloat and/or pain - no improvement. I took antacid liquid prior to that, a type recommended by my physician some time ago, but no improvement. I have not had diarrhea or been constipated. Some of my family members have a history of diverticulosis or itis. Could my symptoms be related to that or is my problem just eating the wrong food?
