What Causes Severe Stomach Ache?
My husband developed severe stomach pains in his upper to mid abdomen relatively suddenly after drinking a large protein smoothie. This happened about 4 hours ago and he is still in serious pain. He has been travelling recently and not had a regular bowel movement in several days. Can we give this until tomorrow to see if it clears up, or should we go to the emergency?\

Here, acute stomach pain could be from acute infection of gastrointestinal tract following outside drink. For that, Rabeprazole plus Domperidone combination drug can be prescribed for a week.
Kindly mention the following details:
- Is there blood in stool?
- Are you having diarrhea?
- Fever present?
