What Causes Severe Spasms On The Pelvic Area?

I have severe spasms in pelvic, rectal deep in inner thigh. Sometimes it s so bad I have to stop walking and hold on to something. Can t move. It s eased up until today I feel the pain starting again. Can t put pressure on my leg cause it radiates back through rectel and vaginal area again. My mother was recently diagnosed with Marie shark tooth(not sure how to spell it). I also have severe scoliosis.

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
