What Causes Severe Pain On The Back And Pelvis After An Injury?

After falling on my back last Tuesday, I have been experiencing pain. I thought it was from a peptic ulcer, now it went down toward the pelvic area where I landed during my fall. I also thought my arm was broketn but it was badly bruised. I am worried about internal bleeding from the fall.

In all probability, due to the fall, you must have sustained contusion of the pelvic bones and soft tissues. However to rule out any bone injury, it would be wise to get an Xray taken. If this does not show any fracture, all you have to do is to take rest, minimize your ambulation, be in bed as much as possible, and in a few days, the contused tissues will heal and your pain will resolve.
