What Causes Severe Pain In The Upper Abdomen?
I just had another episode where the highest part of my stomach hurts. The pain is very intense and it feels like something is stuck trying to make its way down into the stomach but I have not eaten anything. It hurts all the way through to the back. I usually will take a Gas-x melting strip and then I start burping and burping for like 15 mins. I am left feeling weak, shaky and sweaty. What is going on?

Here it seems to be acute gastritis or ulcer
For that rabeprazole taken for two week minimum
Cooked oatmeal help in soothing stomach
Avoid excess spicy foods
Green leafy vegetables, fruits taken more
Non veg is avoided
Gas x helpful if gas present
If no benefit noted than USG done and h. Pylori testing done by urea breath test
Take care
Consult physician for examination
