What Causes Severe Pain In The Shoulder And Thighs?
I am an 82 year old female. 10 days ago, I started aching from my shoulders to my feet - most of my muscles in my limbs hurt. The worst (and where it began most acutely) is in my upper thighs (both sides). It s very hard for me to stand up from sitting or lying down. It hurts - and I am stiff as well, like I can t straighten myself up. It s hard for me to walk from the bed to the bathroom. Both shoulders hurt too. No fever or other symptoms. I have not had trouble with arthritis except in my hands (probably from overuse). I

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
