General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry for the painful situation you are in.

Sciatic pain is really a strong pain that will limit your movement.
Gabapentin shot helped. Should discuss with neurologist to prescribe gabapentin to take to reduce the pain in the following days.

Stronger analgesics should be prescribed if still no improvement. The last treatment choice is surgery. However, follow neurologist advice rigorously first.

Wish fast recovery.
