What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower And Middle Back?

Hi I am 35 yr old male quite fit and recently have had alot of lower and middle back aching pain when I wake up, the last few days the same pain has dropped into my buttocks and into my thighs and calfs which pain killers and are not shifting should I contact my gp?

yes,if the painkillers have not helped much plus the pain is radiating and mainly its there after you wake up then its a concern to visit a doctor.is there any stiffness in your back when you wake up?See the posture you maintain through out the day.while working,walking,sitting.If you had met with an accident recently.Many things need to be asked and also some tests should be run.so its better to visit a doctor.
