Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe pain in the ears after tonsillectomy which could be due to infection in throat. Sometimes infection remains even after tonsillectomy or due to low immunity infection came back. I am suggesting that you should consult your treating surgeon so that he can do a clinical evaluation and check for any infections. You should take proper antibiotic course to subside infection. Apply dry warm compresses on external ear and cover it while bathing till it gets better . Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Maintain proper hygiene. avoid taking very hot and spicy food. Drink plenty of water and liquids. Also avoid cold beverages .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
