What Causes Severe Pain In The Chest Area?

Iam 65 years old 4 days ago I started to feel central chest pain (tight pain) not that severe pain .l hve seen by ajunior cardiologist .ecg show some ectopic beats .negative troponin.cbc .rft. D timer. Lipid ptofile all these tests were normal . H pylori positive/he put me in clexane 8000bd .plavix 75 mg once rovista 20 mg once at bed time plus aspirin 100mg. Now the pain subsided but i started dry postrual cough and troubled breathing iam hypertensive 5 years sgo on micardis 80/your opinion please

Hi welcome to health care magic...

You are taking telmisartan drug for hypertension...

This drug can lead to dry cough as side effect...

Ectopic beat can be physiological....

But as you have dyspnea this time consult your cardiologist for examination , auscultation and if needed work up needed with echocardiography and tread mill....

If any significant cause like LVH revealed than specific treatment done (LVH can occur in chronic hypertension patient)
