What Causes Severe Pain In The Body And Fatigue?

I have been taking Enbrel 50mg once week for approx 10 years for psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. When I requested my last refill, I was told the insurance requested a prior authorization. It took 5 weeks to get straightened out. I got my refill yesterday, and took my injection last night. During the night I had so much pain, was too tired to get up, and today I am hurting and very tired. Is that normal? Ruby

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all it is sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, since you were off medication for a significant period and therapeutic levels tend to fall and resume after steady dosing for few days to its previous levels and that's when control of symptoms can be achieved. However if pain persists a repeat review by a rheumatologist may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
