Hello and welcome to HCM,
Typhoid fever causes symptoms related to gastrointestinal tract (GIT).
Typhoid fever does not cause lymph node enlargement in the neck.
Lymph node enlargement in the neck can be due to infection, inflammation or malignancy.
A fine needle aspiration cytology of the lymph node is required to know the cause of its enlargement.
In fine needle aspiration cytology, a needle is inserted into the lymph node, cells are aspirated and stained with appropriate stains.
The stained cells are studied microscopically to know the most probable cause of its enlargement.
The cause of enlargement of lymph node and its probable treatment can only be done after relevant investigations.
Thus, consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and thus management.

Thanks and take care
