What Causes Severe Pain In Left Calf Post An Injury?

I had an injury to my left calf about a month ago, I hit it on a ladder in a pool. I had some bruising right afterwards, about three weeks later I had some intense pain like a Charlie horse ( felt like my muscle was sore) for about a week then it started swelling twice its size. I went to the ER to check for a blood clot last weekend and the Doppler was negative. The pain continues but not as bad, but now my whole calf, foot and ankle are purple

Hello,
You need to go to Emergency again and get checked. Something is wrong that could be serious. You could have a clot that was not detected or something called compartment syndrome. See a doctor today to avoid further damage to your leg
