Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
bone pain I have had a sharp intermittent pain (and painful to touch) just to the inner aspect of my tibia for several years now. The pain is not related to increase in activity and I am not active in contact sports . I have had basic yearly lab test that have not come up abnormal. I first thought it was a bone bruise but do they last over three years? Do I need to worry about it? Do I need any diagnostic images?
Regarding your question, you should not worry too much however I would recommend you to do X-ray of Tibial bone, Calcium and Vitamin D3 levels and ESR test to evaluate.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Wajahat Baig, Internal Medicine Specialist
