What Causes Severe Pain In Flank And Back Along With Spams In Leg?

I have bad flank pain in both sides and middle of back, my leg muscles have also been having spasms in my left leg! I went to see GP and he advised my blood pressure was high but that was normal for me! I had a few heart pulp actions and a bit of a fuzzy head. He has arranged for a ECG but this was normal I have had blood tests and still awaiting results( I am pert rifled of the results) he also advise drinking lots of water and I have done this but nothing is taking the pain away! I have really scared myself by reading the worse case sernario and I still have 5 days to wait for results

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe pain in flank and back along with spams in leg. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query arthritis , infection in the spine , disk disease , pinched nerve , kidney stones , sciatica or kidney abscess. I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan along with MRI along with physical examination . Doctor may recommend physical therapy , prescribe muscle relaxant , anti inflammatory , nerve supplement . Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem . For now apply warm compresses to back and groin , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
