Hi Dear, Welcome to HCM. Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe pain due to gastritis along with sweating. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like food poisoning , food allergy , infection of digestive system , gas , stomach flu or colic . Need not to worry. You should take oral rehydration solution as well. I would suggest you to sips of water or other clear fluids on a very frequent basis. If condition doesn t get better then consult gastroenterologist for proper examination and get complete examination done. Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , antibiotics ,analgesic and antacid. You should avoid solid foods for a few hours try small amounts of mild foods such as rice, applesauce and do not take foods or drinks caffeine , carbonated beverages , citrus and dairy products.
