What Causes Severe Pain Around Back And Waist While Suffering From PKD?

I have polycystic kidneys (Both) quite large over many years. Have ben told that I fall into the 2% that probably will never need dialysis. Have developed severe back ache right around the waist area. I m a side-sleeper and get up once in the night about 3-4 hr. after going to bed . I see a nephrologist 2X per year. Continue with ASA-500 mg together with methocarbomol-400 mg

I really appreciate your concern, if the condition is asymptomatic and not affect the renal function then it may not need any treatment if the cysts going to increase and cause some symptoms then it would be matter of concern till then it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
