What Causes Severe Pain And Swelling In Ankles Post Trauma?

Over a year I have been seeing a Neurologist for a bad fall I sustained hitting my whole left side head back & ankle. I have been doing therapy for my shoulder & back. My left ankle has been swollen many times with excruciating constant pain. U also gotten a Cortisone shot in my shoulder which only lasted for a week relieve What further step can I take. Very frustrated Patient tired of feeling pains

I really appreciate your concern, if the pain is the main concern then it better to find out the underlying cause of pain and in absence of this it is just nothing to worry because then it could be due to some functional factor, just try to come out of this, if you have not done the Imaging study of injured part then better to get this done, hope this information helps.
