What Causes Severe Pain And Stiffness In Ankle Post Surgery?
Hello. I am 22 years of age and have had 3 ankle surgeries on my right ankle and 1 on my left ankle. The left ankle is the most recent surgery. The surgeries all had to do with the talus bone. My last surgery was is August 2014. Everything has been going good, but recently my ankle has started clicking and causing a lot of pain. Sometimes my ankle will catch and i will fall or lose balance. My question is.. after having surgery, why does this pain still happen? If so, is it normal to be happening after surgery? Is there anything to help with the pain or what do you suggest? Thank you.
See as your history suggests it is quite normal to have pain after surgical procedure. You need not to worry much regarding that. If pain is very severe and disturbing your routine work you can take some killer like tab combiflam or tab biozobid-plus every 8-12 hours. In case you have any issues even after this you can contact your operating surgeon.
