What Causes Severe Pain And Rashes On The Pelvic Region?

I have a severe rash and severe pain in the pelvic region and it started with the change in laundry detergent and we think it is an allergic reaction to sodium laureth sulfate. I would like to know how to best treat it without seeing a md if possible

Hello,

As per your case history, you are suffering from fungal infection called as Tinea Corporis.

My treatment advice is:

1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
4. Other treatment options are Oral Fluconazole, Itraconazole and Terbinafine drugs, taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
