I am taking 200mg of bupropin a day plus lithium twice a day. I also take Metformin 1000mg once a day. The last few months I have been experiencing extreme nauseau, to the point where I feel if I open my mouth I will vomit. Any ideas what may be causing this?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of taking 200 mg of Bupropin, Lithium twice a day and Metformin 1000 mg once a day. There is extreme nausea for the last few months to the extent that you feel like opening the mouth and vomit. Since the nausea is for such a long time, the following possibilities are: Gastritis and esophagitis. Any of the medicines you have mentioned can cause this and stopping all the medication and by starting one everyday can give you the medicines that is causing nausea. If stopping of the medicines does not help nausea within a few days you need to go for further studies: Upper GI endoscopy. CT scan f the brain is the central cause is suspected. Opinion of a Gastroenterologist and Neurologist.
