What Causes Severe Muscle Cramps After Chemotherapy And Lumpectomy?

I am a 47 yo female with a history of breast cancer treated with lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. Subsequently found to have metastisis to the lung treated with wedge resection. I am currently not on shemo or radiation. I have been having severe muscle cramps in isolated muscles lasting for hours to days. I have also fallen multiple times recently due to tripping, losing balance etc. My metabolic panel and cbc done approx. 4 weeks ago was all normal. My question is what could these sysmptoms be related to?

Hello,

Muscle cramps may be a sign of elevated calcium levels. This makes us suspect for bone metastasis. You should check calcium, AFP levels and probably do bone scintigraphy.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
