What Causes Severe Migraine Attacks In The Mornings?

I have migraine.. I wake early mornings with severe head aches. I had severe attack of migraine a couple of weeks back and had to be given under the tongue bp medication to bring down the pressure. I just want to know if paneer could trigger migraine, as I had paneer macaroni dish the previous night.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Cheese is a trigger for migraines so it is possible that this is the cause of your present migraine headache.

Other common triggers are: chocolate, nuts, soy foods, emotional stress, inadequate sleep, wine, pork, avocados, over ripe bananas.

If you have frequent migraines you may need to consider prophylactic medication. This is medication that can be given to reduce the frequency of the attacks.

Your doctor would be able to prescribe one of these for you.

I hope this helps
