Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello! Having constant pain in the middle of my back mostly on the right side. Feels more muscular than skeletal. If I move suddenly or get up quickly the pain is intense!! My urine is normal. When I lay down on my back at night I have to ease into laying flat as it is really tight
As per your query you have symptoms of severe middle back pain which seems to be due to improper posture and lowered level of Vitamin D in body.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to
- Take medications like muscle relaxants along with analgesics as it will reduce pain.
- You should use use rib support belt.
- You should apply muscle relaxant gel.
If symptoms keeps on persisting visit orthopaedician once and get complete examination done and start treatment accordingly. You should get MRI scan done along with vitamin D levels monitored.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
