Hi, dont know how fast you respond to questions but i Will appreciate if i get à quick response on this.I détected I had fibriod 3months ago when I was experiencing constant pain at my leg, buttocks and lower abdomen area. I took à scan after my complain to thé doctor and it was discovered that i had uterian fibroid.Started using supplement after my discovery and the pain was gone. Jst recently i had my menstruation which came with sévère pain and ever since then the pain as continued. The pain as been constant since the mênstraution . Cld it be somethg else or its the fibriod that is causing so much pain
Uterine fibroids would cause pain in most of the cases. Pain is experienced mainly during menstruation during which the uterus is squeezed to let out the menstrual blood. As you had the ultrasound done, we can rule out other organ abnormalities. Other possibility is any lumbar disc abnormalities like slipped disc or degeneration. It can be detected on MRI SPINE. Depending upon the size and number of fibroids and the intensity of symptoms, treatment varies from hormonal therapy to relieve the symptoms and reduce fibroid size to surgical therapy only in a very severe cases. So, I conclude by saying that if even after your menstrual period, pain or bleeding persists, you can have a gynecological consultation and discuss the various treatment modalities. Hope my answer clarifies your doubts. Any further queries, please let me know. It's my pleasure to be of any help to you. Wish you a speedy recovery. Thank you.
Take care
