What Causes Severe Lower Abdominal Cramps After Taking Macrobid Dose?
I went to the ER on Sunday & was given Macrobid antibiotics for a bladder infection. Today I started my period and like the pain in my bladder wasn t bad enough, now I have horrible cramps. So my question is, Can I take midol with the antibiotics or is it not safe?

Midol may help relieve you of menstrual cramps since it contains acetaminophen to relieve pain, caffeine to help reduce bloating and fatigue, and antihistamine to help alleviate water retention.Taking midol while on macrobid may pose no problem.
