Hello. Just wondering about what I have! I think I have allergies. I having severe itching, burning sensation, a little bit of swelling. It happens every time I get my legs in some type of motion and every time I just want to take a walk around the neighborhood. For example I went to the gym went on the treadmill right away the symptoms popped up. It happens from the knees up like thigh area. Thanks Carmen
Hi. As per your case history of itching on legs, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral steroid like prednisone or betamethasone taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
