my husband is suffering with severe itching only on the upper part of his body - arms, chest, neck and back of which is resulting with a lot of bleeding. Could this be an allergy? Hello,

Dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. and allergic reaction--especially to something that is more felt on the upper body such as soaps and laundry detergents--are quite common. But not bleeding which is a very very serious symptom.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
