What Causes Severe Itching In Hair And Head?

Hi, I am a 38 year old woman and started to have asthma about 2 years ago. Other strange symptoms, also started around the same time frame, mostly at work, I would get crazy itchy, especially my hair/head. After a long, long time of trying to figure out what was wrong, I realised the conection to the air in the work place and started to piece things together. Big mold/fungus problem seems to be the culprit. I took pics of the vents (GROSS!!!) and started noticing hair like and spores mostly in my hair, but really everywhere. I believe that it may be from the aspergillus fungus. I recently photographed my sputum, and zoomed in. It has the same hair like things I see in the fungus coming out of the walls. Is this something I can get help with with any doctor, cause I feel a little crazy talking about it, and showing my gross pics. Thanking you in advance, Joanne

hi Joanne....fungus in the AC ducts can cause infection of the respiratory tract. what you can do is get a culture sensitivity of your sputum. in case there is a fungal infection, it will grow and then u can take treatment accordingly. as for your hair and head itch u can start antifungal treatment right away.
tab fluconazole 400 mg stat
triatop shampoo on alternate days
keep the shampoo for 5 mins before washing it off.
please follow up with your culture report.
