What Causes Severe Itching All Over The Body?
I am 59, have a history of itching on the body, no relief after prolonged medication, now taking half tab of Zyretek 5 mg. on alternate days to get relief from itching. Now since the onset of summer, I have a problem of itching in the thigh joints and (all over that part) and have taken 3 tabs. of antifungal tab onc in a week. Initially there was some releaf but it started recurring, espically in the night/early morning hours. In every summer this occurs due to sweting.

1.dont scratch more as it may worsen the condition.
2.maintain good hygiene.
3.avoid contact with chemicals.
4.take levocetrizine tablets twice daily for 7 days to control itching.
5.apply calamine lotion over the body.it helps in reducing itching.
