What Causes Severe Itchiness Behind The Ear?
I have had itching behind my ears and at the base of hairline in back for over a week. I have treated with vinegar and aloe. It is not going away. Itching has become worse. I looked in mirror and it is very red and rough at neckline, feels scabby. Can t see oozing. What can I do? Do you know what it is?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe itchiness behind the ear which could be due to ear infection, allergic reaction, and inadequate hygiene in that area. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin you are not allergic to it along with Ibuprofen and Loratadine. Try to avoid excessive use of mobile as it will put more pressure. If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. For now take benadryl twice a day a, keep area around your ear clean and dry. Avoid touching or pricking it with any sharp object.
