What Causes Severe Headaches?

My partner has a headache which she describes as like a burning poker above the eye, between the nose. Also descibes as worse than any usual headache she has previosuly had. She also indicates it is sore to touch. Any thoughts on what this could be?

It can be cluster headache, Cluster headache is often be the most painful headache, it can be described as bursting like a hot poker in the eyes.its severity can be 10/10.

For treatment you can take medications, oxygen inhalation therapy, steroids and preventive medications after prescription.
- Tripton- Relieves pain and symptoms associated with cluster headache after prescription.
- Calcium channel blocker- Relax blood blockers.
- Steroids can also help for stimulations of hormones effects, often to reduce inflammation.
- Nerve pain medication.
This above treatment can take after prescription.
