What Causes Severe Headaches?
I went went to the e r room last week with an excruciating headache. It was on the left top/side of my head.. Not a usual place for a sinus headache. They concluded that it was sinus or a virus that produces this kind of headache. It was non conclusive as to what really caused this headache. I ve never had this before.

The common causes of headache are:
1) Stress
2) Tension
3) Sinusitis
4) Migraine
5) Refractive error problems of eyes
6) Acidity
7) Infections
8) Hypertension
9) Head Injury and many more
As in your case, diagnosed as because of sinus or infection, I will suggest you to take tablet Okacet cold. Along with that take steam inhalation twice a day.
