What causes severe headaches?

Sir, the question is regarding my daughter aged 27 working in Usa as software engineer, she is getting severe headache since last 1 month, she is not able to work before system & even dhe is not able to see light focus and getting headache if do so, she getting relief while closing her eyes, doctors at Usa advised that it’s Migraine and using tablets but not getting relief at all . I. Usa doctor checked with all tests including MRI brain but everything is normal. Can you please suggest medicines please

Yes, it can be a migraine or a tension headache. First if its migraine she will have nausea aura and blurring of vision, etcetera. She can be treated with amitriptyline prophylaxis. If its tension headache she needs to find some solution to avoid it. First her posture to be taken care of. Prolonged hours of work sitting will cause it. She needs to take some break, and walk and get coffee often. She can do some eye and hand exercise during the break. Eat some fresh fruits and juices for good health. Take vitamins and mineral tablets, drink milk and protein powders. It's most probably due to work induced condition rather than a migraine. So better apply the above formulas to come out of the situation. Ask her to do meditation and yoga and clean her mind.
