Hello dear,
I understand your concern.Severe headache episodes where each episode lasts for hours to upto 1-2 days-most commonly results from 'migraine'.Other features of migraine are-
Unilateral(on one side of head),throbbing(pulse like),associated with nausea, visual aura(seeing flashing lights),photophobia(headache increased on exposure to bright light) and phonophobia(headache increased on exposure to sound).Migraine is usually precipitated by a trigger factor like stress, sunlight, smoking, alcohol or food items like cheese, coffee or tea. Please visit your physician so that he can take proper history to establish the diagnosis and start treatment.I hope it helps.
